In order to overcome a Vitamin D deficiency, you may want to get outside more often to get 20-30 minutes of natural sunlight. The average person should be getting about 5000 IUs a day. You also want to be consuming more Vitamin D-rich foods like wild-caught fish, raw fermented dairy products, egg yokes, and mushrooms. Lastly, you want to be consuming a high quality Vitamin D3 supplement (5000 IUs daily). If you want to overcome Vitamin D deficiency, follow these steps and you will start seeing results!

I live in the Pacific Northwest and I had my vitamin D levels were like 15. Now I'm up to almost 30 but it's taking a while to get there. I also do a transdermal multivitamin patch that has vitamin D 5000 IU's and K2.

  21. How are Vitamin D3 supplement made? Are they vegan? Are they mostky defived from ovine sources? Is the Vitamin D made by our body through sunlight exoosure really sufficient? Halibut and cod liver oils contain both Vitamin A and Vitamin D – won’t we overdose on the Vitamin D? Which part of the sheep are Vitamin D supplemebts detived? The liver? What about halal issues?   22. Anyone can answer is there anything like cheap vitamin D or high quality vitamin D as in 4:05? How to know what is high quality vitamin D or cheap vitamin D?

  23. Mushrooms BUT you need to turn them over fora bit to absorb sunlight which in turn gets them full of vitamin D!

  24. The winter months statement is wrong. You can’t get vit d if the sun is below 30 degrees. Here in Canada you can’t get vitamin d like 150 days a year.
